forget about how good the burger is... buds will always be a local favorite, regardless of how bad it gets.

its still my favorite burger of all time... i love how they use COLD grated cheese... Brilliant!

Try Company Burger on Ferrett... its amazing

Try company burger and then either port of call or Lakeview harbor, both make a similar burger.

Has anyone tried the new burger place next to Tru burger in the old Whitney Bank/Curry Corner?

Bud's Broiler reminds me of the burgers they served us in middle school. Worst burger I've ever paid for.

I never was a Bud's fan and there was one within 1/4 mile from my house growing up.

Far from an expert on the NOLA buger scene, but from what I hear Whole Foods has a smoked burger that is to die for. Some say it's tops in the city. You can't acutally order it but don't let that deter you. This burger is so good that the mere thought of its existence is all you need.

I reluctantly agreed to eat at Tru Burger on Sunday and saw that place. I checked out the menu and don't think I will ever eat there. When I make a decision to eat a burger, I'm not making it based on health.

Snug Harbor (same owners and burgers as Port of Call)
Yo Mama's (The peanut butter burger is incredible)

Careful. You're gonna be wearing concrete shoes at the bottom of the river if you bring this up again.

Haven't had many in town, but the Hi Hat burger has been my favorite. I'll walk right past Company and head on over to Hi Hat if I want a burger.

Speaking of bottom of the river, what the hell happened to New Orleans' foremost dining expert anyway?
