As far as character goes, how do you explain what he did to jarrett lee? Or what about in 2009 when he was yelling to "clock it" to JJ and then threw him under the bus in the post game presser?

Nothing I say concerning LM will change your mind. You've convinced yourself he's the devil and is personally responsible for sabotaging our program and your personal happiness it would seem. I'm very pleased with our success and am enjoying our accolades. If you enjoy being angry- please continue. You're doing a good job.

So miles says Mett was hurt Nd that's why he didn't play in the BCSNCG

Mett says he was healthy and could have played of his number was called. Instead they "rolled with the two SEC senior qb's".

His words, not mine.

I dont think he is the devil but their has definitely been some inconsistencies. The clock it issue, this inconsistency with Mett, the way he treated Lee at the end of the season and his stubborn refusal to pull JJ in either the CC or NC game. You would think at least after JJ shite the bed in the CC he would have some kind of plan B in case he played like he did in the NC. I mean I realize he played better in the NC game than in the CC game but jeez it would be almost impossible to play any worse than he did against UGA.

No one in his right mind believes Les would have played Mett in the NC game. Give me a fricking break.

Was Mett hurt in Atlanta when our offense was fricking horrific? How many snaps did he get?

So Miles ADMITS that he should have and would have played a QB other than JJ...but makes no explanation as to why he failed to substitute in the available senior back-up who had started half of the season and gone undefeated in that role?

you talking about the "available senior back-up" who shite his pants every time he saw crimson? when are you clowns going to get it? if the other "available senior back-up" could have effectively attacked bama, don't ya think he would have shown he had an inkling of how to accomplish it in his previous four attempts? this is not a knock on JL, but more a knock on you and people like you who blame JJ/Miles, and JJ/Miles solely for the loss in the natcham game. Miles and staff played the hand that was dealt them....and the precentages overwhelmingly pointed to JJ being the best option in a close game with bama. both those kids gave their best. the heartwarming comeback fantasy that many here lusted for was just that....a fantasy that, by the results shown in previous performances, would have blown up in LSU's face. but then you fricks could have blamed Miles "for not sticking to the game plan and panicking" therefore losing a natcham that we were entitled to...yeah, right.

bust hump....kill bama.

I don't want to read through, so can anyone verify that what the OP said was true?

Could be some truth to the rumors about Lee having some eligibility issues.

I would have preferred this:

COACH MILES: Going into the national championship game, I would like to have given a lot of thought to things in that game.

That's just me, though. Some coaches like to prepare to win a national championship against a rival, some just like to think about what they would have done differently after being methodically slaughtered for 4 quarters without attempting to change a damn thing throughout the course of it.

There's a link in the thread (pg 1-3?) that has a transcript of Les's interview. It's worth reading. The quote of interest is at the tail end.

IMO, Les was saying something along the lines of: "Mett had a prior injury that limited his reps during the season. Else, he would have been ready/mature enough to play even in the CG."

The quote doesn't turn so much on who played QB on 1/9 as it does that Mett has progressed well. Just kind of came out rather clumsily.

Let it go, man. You and Guilbeau just need to let these things go. It does not matter. Unless you have a time machine that would allow us to change the result of the game, there's really no point to keep bitching about how the game went.

We lost. It sucked. We've moved on. Last year was overwhelmingly great. This year should be even better.

Who won the game?

Seriously, you people are truly sick.

Basically you repeat the same tired old stuff day in and day out. Don't any of you ever have an original thought?

Let it go.

It is a very overrated performance. Lee gets lit up IMO if he steps into Last year's NC game.

Yea since JJ was playing sooo well in leading LSU to a grand total of 0 points I can see why you wouldn't want to put Lee in for a few series.

How does this make sense?

It sounds like Bill Clinton during the Monica fiasco when he said "I didn't do it, but if I did...".

if Mett wasn't hurt due to bowl game practice, he (Les) probably would have played him.

No he fricking wouldn't have. If you believe that you're an idiot. He could've played him hurt and he would've been better than JJ.
