Who do you think would have won out?

I fear that RG would have been converted to WR. What do you guys think?

Tough to say

You could also flip it and ask what if Luck went to Baylor

2 different systems

RGIII would have never seen the field at any top D1 program.

Well, RG3 to Stanford almost happened, unlike Luck to Baylor

2007 - The Offer

Key bit:

"The story starts in 2007, when Griffin got a tantalizing offer from Stanford. In short, if he committed to the Cardinal, then the Cardinal would commit to trying a two-quarterback system with him and Luck. Harbaugh - now the coach of the San Francisco 49ers - was Stanford's coach at the time, and after spending about an hour in his office chatting with Griffin came away with a strong inkling that he would win that recruiting battle.

A month later, the phone rang. It was Griffin. He apologized and said he was planning to enroll at Houston, where coach Art Briles was recruiting him."

Isn't RG3 a year older? If he is he would start, if not Luck.

Well I ask, because I was watching E:60 and he said Stanford wanted him, but he passed since Luck had already committed.

I think he would have transferred. He seemed dead set on playing QB during the recruiting process, as he should have been since he's really good at it. Probably would have ended up at Baylor regardless, or possibly a school like UH, SMU or TCU.

It's speculation, but I bet if RG3 didn't look significantly better than Luck (and I bet it would be pretty close, either way), then Luck would be the QB and RG3 would become a top wide receiver.

I don't think it's a racial thing, just that RG3 would translate better to multiple positions than Luck. And I think RG3 saw that was a real possibility and decided to follow Briles to Baylor instead.

Both were in the class of 2008. Luck redshirted as a freshman while RG3 redshirted after getting injured as a sophomore.

Yep. No one worth a flip would play a Heisman-winning ultra athletic quarterback.

They recruited him specifically to play in a 2 QB system. If that would have held up, it would have been crazy

And yes he would have transferred before he was ever put at WR

And yes BBD is a fricking dumbass
