Wondering what the generational break down might be.
Mine was in the mid 60s- Zebco 202, then they were solid black plastic with white lettering

I thought it was big time a couple of years later when I got a Johnson Century, the were all metal then.

The tiny Zebco that looks like a shrunken 33.

First baitcaster was Shimano. The black one that was a cheap version of the 100. Ah, those wooden handles.

I was slinging an Abu C3 before I learned to wipe my own arse

eta: Just realized we weren't talking bait casters, mine was a zeb on an old falcon

Zebco "Hoss". Not sure what the number was, but I remember it saying Hoss on it. Think it was bigger than a 33.

I'm sure i had the typical Zebco like everyone else. But the first setup i had when i was serious about fishing was an Ambassador 6000 on an Ugly Stick.

Zebco. Can't remember the model though. It was plastic and brown/lightbrown. Put a hurting on the sac-au-lait population with that thing.

Mine was a Pflueger... They were on sale a few months ago

Seriously though, I've never been into it really until this year and now have a shimano and some other asian sounding one that starts with a D (samurai something?)

Still a noob, but I eagerly read everything you all post about bass fishing.

Then an Ambassador model from the 70's that weighed five pounds.
