Yall won't be far from the Crab Lady launch, that area has some crazy clean water. That was the very first place I got to dabble in sight fishing and it was a blast. Stand up, paddle, try not to spazz out when a fish is 10' from you.

Topwater(I killed the trout in GI last summer with a Matrix Mullet in the pink color, that's what I'd start with)
Suspending(Mirrodine in either pink or chartreuse to start), I have a ton of Corkys(Fat Boys, Broke Backs) that I've been wanting to try too.
Jighead/Plastic, when trout are thick I like to throw tandem rigs, 2 at a time is just more fun.

While I do love me some Matrix, I can't always stay stocked up. I can get Skinny Dippers anytime though, and trouts love them,

I heading there Monday as well, but I plan to launch behind the island by WLF.
