Same. Just haven't had any occasion to use them.

Nice. Put Teets a pack up.

Teets is probably babysitting or asleep in his recliner so I’ll make sure save him a bag

Give a man a fish vs teach a man to fish.

Anyone kayak fish on the Mississippi Gulf Coast? Thinking about getting a kayak and getting into it once it warms up some. There are lots of bridges and inshore reefs, not to mention marsh, to fish.

Full disclosure: I dabbled in this thread two years ago but due to some unfortunate circumstances I couldn’t purchase a kayak then.

I haven't fished in MS from kayak but I know some who do well at the reefs, BSL, and Bayou Caddy area. If you have IG there is a guy "Magnolia.Coast.Angler" who crushes it in a kayak.

Bayou caddy is all I have fished. Fish the mouth on tide change and the structure they dropped recently. Every trip has produced a few trout and at least 2 flounder. But this is maybe twice a year. Been wanting to try Ansley but never went

I've kayak fished just about every inch of the MS coast. Even plenty trips mothershipping to the islands.
BSL and the front beach reefs are great for kayak fishing. There's so many kayak accessible spots and launches, that you can always find somewhere to fit the weather & time of year.
I bought a new boat this last spring, so the kayak is mostly collecting dust lately.
