That was 2018 and my first tournament. There were like 50 people entered and not many caught fish. I caught 2 dinks and skunked. Water was dirty and had 20 mph winds.

I actually miss that one being the first tournament of the year. It was the only one we did with lodging right there at the launch and the Friday night hanging out was the best part.

It was pretty disappointing. Salinity was way up there, water looked great, I found areas that if it wasn't for the wind blowing so hard I could've stood and sight fished.

I no longer kayak fish enough to justify a new boat, but this updated Slayer 12.5 max looks pretty neat. I still hate front hatches though.
