I have to say this in a vote for chinquapin.
I foul hooked one the other day while bass fishin and told my buddy to get the net. Honestly thought I had about a 4-5 pound bass on, I couldn't turn the thing around.

YFT. jacks fight hard but once they get in the 30 ft range they quit fighting. if you get a yft in 30 ft or less he can still strip out 100+ foot of line many times over.

Gargle eye, fresh water even though choupique is way up there. Also I find they fight harder than a brim.
Spec is way up there salt water. I think a 4 pound spec will outfight a 4 lb redfish every day of the week.
