What ever you want to call them. After seeing an OB thread link to these plans my brother and I decided to build one for my parents. Framing was built with 2x2s and 1x4s. All the covering was old cypress wood from some old shed/barns that's about 80 years old. Surprisingly it was in alot better shape than I expected. It's not perfect but I'm happy with how it came out. I also added wheels to this one so they'll just be able to roll it to the edge of the patio to drain. I'll probably start on another one in the next few days with a few revisions.

What do you think about the size of it?

I'd probably aim for a 54 qt cooler to build around. 94 seems like it'd be pretty damn big.

So you pretty much built a box around an ice chest and put legs on it? Why?

I would guess add up the material cost and the. $20-$25 an hour for labor. Maybe around $230?

I'm going to make one of those this weekend. I have some old cypress but I'm going to pressure wash, stain, and seal it before I use it.
