Why is the stock market rising in past couple days? I still see Europe not being able to decide on what they want to do. They won't lower interest rates. The U.S. only created 69,000 jobs in May compared to 140,000ish jobs in April.
Is this a temporary fix for a greater crash later?
or what's going on?!

Jon Hilsenrath NYT article and Steve Liesman rant on CNBC. Add a pinch of the Scott Walker win and we have risk on at least for right now.

The markets do seem to be loving conservative wins recently.

Lordy, if I checked the stock market every day I'd go batty. Once a month is my limit. And last month I lost 7K.

Didn't CNBC air a special report on Sunday night "Stock Market in Turmoil" with Jim Cramer and Maria B?
I held off on buying BP, Linn Energy (LINE), and Magnum Hunter Resources (MHR) after seeing this program.

I'm no day trader, but I read up on anything I'm holding and considering, on a daily basis.
I compare it to "celebrity gossip" for women.

God don't even get me started on how many these arguments I've gotten into that I never win.
"why are you reading that stupid newspaper instead of talking to me?"
Me: your watching the fcking bachelor. Enough said.
Then I lose...
I think this is a faux rally on speculation and technicals of being over sold. There are more unresolved questions than there are potential answers. Don't buy the rally yet...

I monitor my 401K on a daily basis and after the past couple weeks, I literally almost ran around my office giving out high fives at 930 this morning.
That excited.
That excited.

Yep, replace that with real housewives and it's pretty much to the tee.

Last quote seems like okay news.
First two quotes are nothing but speculation.
Am i missing something? Excuse my inexperience please.

That's what market movements are: speculation. By the time something actually happens, it should already be priced in.
