What I don't get is how this isnt already predetermined. In the CWS, you know that 1,4,5 & 8 are on one side of the bracket, and 2,3,6 & 7 are on the other side. How do they not know which ones are starting on which day?

Locations and times of day, fine. But how do they not know which DAY the 7 seed plays at the CWS, and this the super regional?

SIAP...does anybody know when they release the dates/times for the super regionals? I imagine it is tomorrow because of the games today but that's just a guess...

I read that it will be released after the games are finished tonight.

Stony Brook probably wouldn't be the most appealing thing for TV...whatever that is worth.

If they do it like they've done in the past, one half of the bracket will play Friday and other half Saturday. This then carries over to the CWS.

That being said, look for us to have the 11am Friday start.

What are the chances we get a 1st game on Saturday?

I want one of these two, preferably Site3!

Don't we all, but more appealing match-ups should be out there for primetime slots (Florida vs. NC St/Vandy) and (FSU vs. Stanford)

You don't think Rooney returning to LSU is an appealing matchup? Matulis coming back too... ESPN will pimp the shite outta that. Storylines abound.

Really? Who gives a shite outside of a few LSU fans, who would watch the game outside of any "storylines". These "storylines" won't bring a viewer to the screen who wasn't going to watch anyway.

LSU helped make college baseball what it is today. You really think ESPN doesn't wanna showcase our program/stadium to the country? LSU will be playing in prime time, book it.
You think Florida's gonna bring eyeballs? Hell they can't even fill up their lousy stadium. FSU/Stanford is an intriguing matchup, but Stanford won't bring viewers either & fans from the state of Florida simply don't support their teams.

I think it comes down to National Seeds.
If Dallas Baptist wins, LSU gets site 3 because it knocks out the #4 seed in the CST region.
Oregon/Kent St and UCLA/TCU or Ole Miss will get the late ones.
The defending champs, USC, will not get a primetime slot, Florida will though and will be playing on Sat-Mon.
Lucky for us, Arizona will lock up the Site 2 so we should get 3 or 4
So I guess here are my predictions.
Fri-Sun
Site 1 - 11 a.m., ESPN2; 11 a.m., ESPN2; Noon, ESPN2
Florida St/Stanford
Site 2 - 2 p.m., ESPN2; 2 p.m. ESPN2; 3 p.m. ESPN2

Oregon/Kent St
Sat-Mon
Site 5 - 1 p.m., ESPNU; Noon, ESPNU; Noon, ESPN2
Arkansas/Dallas Baptist (If Baylor wins, I think we might lost our Site 3 slot and be switched with this one)
Site 6 - 4 p.m. ESPNU 3 p.m.; ESPNU; 3 p.m. ESPN2
USC/Oklahoma or App St
Site 7 - 7 p.m., ESPNU 6 p.m., ESPNU; 6 p.m. ESPN2
