This is the first time I have ever seen us not take a victory lap after a regional .. Considering the last 2 seasons, it would have been a nice gesture ..

we took a victory lap at the old box after the regionals in 2000, 2003, 2004, and 2008 .. and after the 2009 regional at the new place ..

I'm thinking LSU has only hosted a super regional 5 times or so until this year.
That'ss hardly enough to develop any kind of consuistant tradition.
That said, it would make sense for them to give a victory lap after the last home game of the post season, whether that's after winning a regional and going on the road for the super, or just having it after winning the super at home.
