Lsu fla 97 not
Even close. The goal posts came down, spurriers arrogant arse lost, and my date to the game had a camera in her purse, I got the pics to prove I was there. Tears In my eyes touching the goalpost, we had no goddam business even being close in that game. It was a gutty effort at a low point in the history of Lsu football. Earlier in the week the student sports writer called the team out in the best sports article I have ever read. He said "the way you respond means everything" he called out there effort and they played over their heads and that night I became an Lsu supporter, not fan , but supporter for life !

LSU v. Florida State 1982.
Me too, man, me too. What a great night.
Would kill for a link to highlights from that game.
I still recall listening to Bowden the week before the game saying they were going to force Risher to try to throw deep because they didn't think he could beat them that way. Then, early in the game....boom!!!

LSU-Florida in 2007 Wish that I could have been at that game.

I'd have to go back to 1-9-12. You gotta believe the outcome would be different for some reason.

No love for LSU Auburn 2001???
Rescheduled game to December after it postponed due to 9/11. Winner takes the West.
Stomping our hated rival in a night game in Tiger Stadium after the cigar smoking game to get our first trip to the SECCG is one of the all time best memories for me.
The onside kick to start the game after Auburn got penalized pregame for stomping on the eye was electrifying.
Toefield and JReed smoked them all game.
Truly an awesome experience.

Since I'm a Tiger exiled in Oklahoma City, has to be the '03 victory over OU for the national championship. We were having a watch party at our house (of course my wife and I were the only LSU fans there). Let's just say it was one sweet party!

Looks like I will be the only one to say this, but...
The Bluegrass Miracle. I think it would be funny as hell to laugh at all those UK fans rushing the field to celebrate a LSU victory
Next I would choose 07 Va Tech. I was at the game in Blacksburg, and I just HATE Va Tech

UGA in 03. This was the day LSU went from scrappy overachievers to perennial contenders
Ole Miss 95 I guess because of who I was with and the day as a whole. By far the most fun I've ever had at an LSU game. Plus a freshman Faulk juked a reb out of his shoes and people went berzerk.

If I get to relive it as I was at the time (i.e., before I was spoiled with perenniel 11+ win seasons and a couple of National Championships), I'd say the '97 Florida game in a heartbeat. It started out exciting and never let down. It wasn't the biggest game (though it was close) or the best game (also damn close), but as last memories go it easily has the most joy and happy thrills from start to finish.
Nowadays, though, beating a Florida team in Tiger Stadium -- even a #1 one -- isn't quite the amazing, exhilerating experience it was then. The (very slight) downside to incredible success, I guess.

UF '07, UGA '03, either BCSCG, AU '01 storming the field after winning the West

Hard pick but naturally Florida 07, Auburn 07 given the ending of the game plus the 07 natty game. I was at everyone and will never forget the atmosphere and complete enjoyment I had from those games
Posted on 5/27/12 at 3:54 am to LSU Tiger 216
LSU/Florida 07 remains as the greatest sporting event I have ever seen in person. The atmosphere was unexplainable. Electric doesn't even begin to describe it.
