Hey, at least Vilma will be totally healed when he comes back.

And now we have more cap room for Brees and DE and DB's in FA.

A lot of people say this but there is no way we are a better team with him out. What if one of our pickup linebackers get hurt?

What did Vilma do that was 12 games worse than Smith?

He was the only one that the media said gave money for Favre hits.

I can definitely live with this.

We have two better players in Lofton and Hawthorne...most of us thought Vilma would get cut anyway early on.

2 of the players aren't even with the team anymore. I'm find with it, even if the Vilma suspension is ridiculous.

Glad we can move on.

I would like to have him, but to be honest this frees up some space for the team to front load the Brees contract and possibly sign some other guys.

So Vilma, who ALLEGEDLY said something gets the same penalty as Stallworth, who ACTUALLY killed a human being.

Not terrible news, but I am surprised Vilma got the whole season. Ah well at least we know where we stand and can finally move forward.

NFL announces Jonathan Vilma has been suspended for the 2012 season. Hargrove gets 8 games. Will Smith 4 games. Fujita 3 games.

All the while, Roethlisberger got 4 games for raping someone........... that's what I call justice Goodell(sarcasm)....

Anyone notice that Will Smith gets suspended for the first four games like every season.

The NFL says it has given the NFLPA the names of other players who participated, but these were the most egregious.

At least it's not more players. We stocked up on LB'ers in FA, so hopefully Spags can work with what he has. We need some pass rushers, though.
