Before Katrina I walked into the old Martin Wine Cellar uptown on a Saturday and Winwood was in there just sampling wines at a tasting and shooting the shite with people. Pretty cool dude. And, yeah, his career is amazing.

Too many good Winwood songs to pick just one. Valerie might be my favorite but "don't you know what the night can do", "back in the high life again", bring me a higher love, roll with it, etc also stand out. I also think Holding On is also a very underrated Winwood song that is one of my favorites of his.
