At the conclusion of the LSU/Auburn game, I switched the radio over to the State/Ark game, which State lost. So sad.

In the postgame show, State's HC Cohen implied that they should have swept us last weekend. I hate this guy. Is this his first year coaching baseball in his life? This is baseball. That coulda, woulda, shoulda shite doesn't matter. With this sport you gotta roll with the punches regardless if the other team does something substantial to gain the win or if luck played a part in it.

This guy seems to be stuck in the past and doesnt want to accept reality. Whatever, I guess I can add him the long list of SEC baseball head coaches that I dislike headed up by Van Horn from Ark.

Dude's a bitch. Close games are going to happen every weekend.

LSU should have swept Auburn this weekend more than Mississippi State should have swept LSU last weekend.

He also had things to say about our field. Did you see how shitty MSU's field looked?

I'm curious why you hate Van Horn. Most I talk to view him as a very good coach who recruits well.

Our coaches don't pull BS stunts like States have in the past and he argues when he thinks he is right. I don't even think Van Horn has got in an umps face 1 time this year.

Was there ever a more pathetic and embarrassing moment in SEC baseball?

Miss. State would have swept LSU last weekend if they had only won two more games....

What am I missing here? Why do we care what a MSU coach might say?

Wouldn't that include ignoring the opposing coach's comments and moving on?

Got to love how he got pissed at the umpire for not falling for his lie and got himself ejected.

ETA: fixed typo

Cohen has been running his mouth. There were several threads after our two wins about his comments. And I, unfortunately, am able to listen to Miss State games on the radio due to where I live and thought some people would be interested in hearing what State's butthurt coach had to say about our series just mere minutes after he lost another one.

If you personally dont care about what the coach has to say, why would you click on the thread chief?

I haven't heard anone from the LSU program comment on Cohen's statements.

Or, are you trying to equate the behavior of the head coach at an SEC school to a group of fans on a message board?

Right. And then you have Van Horn, who clearly teaches this type of stuff, right there outwardly arguing with the umpire as well...even when he is clearly in the wrong.

It was embarrassing in every single way imaginable.
