She had too many ums and awkward pauses for how fantastic this board acts like she is in front of a camera
Trying to think of the proper verbiage or wording on the spot is not easy and she did fantastic. The pauses were because of a delay with the connection. After the guy speaks there is a moment before she gets to hear it and form a response.
Thankfully they didn't ask her to identify Thomas Jefferson. I kid, I kid.

There are two groups of people that missed this.
1) people such as myself that missed bc they don't care.
2) people that dwell in a cave. There are 10 threads a day on this topic.
It's getting old. Really is.
Jmho.
then why bother to read and post in this thread? I don't get you people...
To add in their two retarded cents apparently.

This girl is sexy and can kick a ball pretty well...but meaux..please never throw on camera again!
Posted on 3/11/12 at 6:53 am to tigeradam
It's exciting to see whether she can make it. Is there any footage of her kicking through the uprights from a snap-and-placement?
If I were a woman soccer player trying to make the LSU team as a kicker, I wouldn't do ANY interviews. Same as if I were a male doing the same. That's just me, and part of that is that I would not have aspirations to be a tv personality.
I think it's awesome that she can kick so well. She seems like a nice person with good intentions.

I suspect distance and accuracy may not be her problem, but timing with the snap and hold. I hope she makes the team. But, if she doesn't, she should just transfer to Bama. She'd be a shoo-in over there.

Thanks for sharing that not all us stay glued to Tiger Rant and miss things for several days. She is so classy and I hope her dreams come true.

whether she makes it or not she is truly what sports are all about.
Doing your best and never letting others tell you what is possible.
Have the dream and go after it.
Spoken as somebody who let others determine my future and regretting it i say go for the dream.
If i could go back there are decesions we make that change the path our life takes.
I have a good life i dont want to give the wrong impression but work wise i wanted to be a coach and let my parents push me away from it.
Do what is in your heart and even if you fail you can live with it.
I applaud people who have the guts to try.
This world needs more people like her.
I am proud of her and proud she is a Tiger no matter what.

Super congratulations Mo -
You have already won the battles.
You've won the battle by entering the contest and participating with the LSU soccer team as goalie for the last 4 years.
You've won the battle by entering the contest (not declining the entry) and participating in the vote for LSU's Homecoming Queen (and achieving this honor).
You've won the battle by entering the contest and participating in the tryout as kicker of some sort (kickoff, FG, extra point) for the national contender LSU football team.
You've won the battle by entering the contest (accepting interviews with National and World [UK, et. al.] media sources) and participating (showing up and doing very well with your on the spot responses in all cases).
Undoubtably you have won many more battles, but those battles aren't as public as the preceding ones...
You have already won all these battles. The key (IMO) is that you tried. Yes, you tried. Keep up the pursuit of your dreams. Don't let anyone dissuade you. You're a great Ambassador for LSU. Thanks again.

The girls sitting at the table across from me think it is awesome a girl is trying out
and they think it is really awesome that "she can consistently make 70 yard feel goals"
But they are worried about what will happen when a "400lb linebacker tackles her"

To be as cynical as realistically possible I come up with this: She is only trying out for the team for the publicity.
umm... why do you butt hurt a-holes even bring that up. So what? Even if this is true how is anyway is there something wrong with that? She wants a job in the media???
I bet you only went to school to get a degree so you could get a better job. I bet you only did volunteer work so you could get a job. How selfish!

This.
I live out of state and don't get all of the Louisiana news. I have a life too so thx to the OP bc I had not seen the video! She has great character and I wish her luck!

Love her! Thanks for posting! And post it again just piss the other assholes off.

She looks like she would be a huge positive influence on the team as a whole. If I were coach I would make every effort to get her on the team if she could reasonably contribute.
Two of the finest talents I've ever seen play in Tiger Stadium were Ryan Perrilloux and Cecil Collins. I sure would take her over either of those two. Only now are we coming out of the Perrilloux debacle.

She had a good interview. It's tough to talk like that with a camera in your face and hundreds of thousands of people watching it.

What a great interview, what a pleasure to watch and she is a Tiger. Hope she makes it as I enjoy watching her videos. Geaux Meaux.
