Watching an Iron Chef episode, and one of the chefs had bloody beer. Tomato juice and beer. Anyone tried this before? Any good?

I tried it once a long time ago...seems like you use a lot of the same seasonings that you would put in a standard bloody mary. It wasn't bad, just a little strange to know that it was made with beer.

I've heard it called a red beer, and I've never had one but I know an old man that used to drink them all the time....That being said, I bartended in restaurants for years and that old man is the only one I've ever served one too....

Michelada. Drank them a bunch in Houston. A lil too salty for me, but pretty tasty with raw oysters.

Guiness in a bloody mary is the closest I've had.

had a drink called "Red Eye" at a bar in WV once. I forget what all it had in it, but I do remember beer, vodka, tomato juice, and a raw egg.

Also had a Bloody Bull at Brennan's in New Orleans and enjoyed it.

Pretty good hangover medicine, I like them, something different. Low in alcohol, if that's a plus to you, and pretty tasty.

Pretty popular in central America. Drank more than enough in El Savador.

drinking Micheladas tonite. Just add 2 oz. of ZingZang to a cold beer. Stir. Add lemon/lime and tabasco sauce. I love them.
