For college football in general: Yes
With the trend of kids committing earlier, there will naturally be an increase in de-commits. It is something coaches are going to have to learn from on the job.

For LSU: No
LSU took more early commits than ever have before. Numbers are tight. LSU has lost a couple of guys because of the guys that were recently added.

Even if bourque wasnt ready, he could rs and prob benefit from 1-2 guys leaving early at the rb position. Youd think if ware and ford produce similar next season they would look at leaving.

Plain and simple this guy is scared to compete ,he sees the backs at LSU and he doesnt think he can get on the field, so he goes somewhere else

It's pretty well known that Bourque's dad wanted to dictate to Miles how DB's career at LSU was going to go, including him being the only RB taken in this class. Don't read into it too much, if anything it just means Dooley is desperate and will put up with his dad's BS.

So Dooley is going to deal with more BS from a Louisiana recruit's dad...yeah, that works out well.

seems that way, it sounds like he doesnt want to share carriers and play in a RB by committee type rotation. I guess the dumbest part of the whole thing is, if DB were to come to LSU and be the only back in the class does he and his dad think that LSU still wouldnt play other RBs and still use a rotation? It seems kinda dumb. He can join the long list mediocrity that left LSU for greener grass and woller in shite at UT for 4 years.

I'm sure he would rather play for Dooley, who openly takes shots at his team and makes fun of how talented they are when they lose, than to play for Miles.

Who gives a damn whether he was imnpressed with Miles or not? Left A & M and came to LSU; does not care to compete. He might be good, and good luck to him. I guess we should still feel bad that we lost Janzen Jackson to the Vols too. I am sure we need Sentimore too after he was tossed at BAMA. Let's focus on who wants to be here.

On the plus side he'll only have to deal with it for another year.

You're right. Shouldn't make a difference. Do not know how much recruits and their families talk to other recruits. That could be the only concern. If father mouths off to father B and influences that parent to the negative. I don't know how the close the recruiting circle is.

According to VolNation and Rivals, DAVANTE' BOURQUE, decommits from LSU and is a "solid verbal" to Tennessee today. The more disturbing part of the post of the VolNation Twitter, was the comment about his parents were "unimpressed with Miles." I know that sometimes you just don't mesh with another person. Hope this is not a growing trend.

Borque has been wavering and there has been talk of him decommitting if Hill came on, as well as the problems with his dad, for well over a month now.

His commitment to the Vols is irrelevant, as he decommitted from LSU a week or more ago and everyone knew that he was headed somewhere else.

No offense to you personally, but you can't come with "breaking" news on a recruit that has been gone for a while now and then jump in people's asses when they give you the "Germans"
