The value menu at La Carreta is hard to beat and Iove the margaritas. I think I like the food overall better at Ninfas and Coyote Blues. But for the money it's La Carreta.

My least favorite has to be Superior. I've never had a good meal here and the margaritas are terrible. It's just a place to pick up tail and eat while you're there.

Pancho's. I want to buy a franchise and put one in Destin. The Snowbirds and Spring Breakers could make me a wealthy man.

Tampico. The one in Bayou Vista has been outstanding for 30+ years. Margaritas are the best on the planet!

You (being from Houston)are more exposed to the authenic Mexican food than most are from La or even FL. Panchos (at least the old one in Broadmoor) was actually the first Mexican I ever had back in 75 or 76 so I always judged from that comparison.

La Tiendita on Siegen is the most authentic Mexican you will find in BR. All the others listed are Tex Mex knockoffs and not very good at that.
