I am even more impressed with Les Miles than ever before. Simply put the man has put together a remarkable 4yr record without a quarterback.....yes without a quarterback.

Everyone needs to be honest....No one, GOING INTO THE SEASON, thought it was possible to play our schedule, with the two quarterbacks on this roster, and post arguably the best single season in LSU history.

We will have a REAL quarterback for the first time, since Maulk and Flynn, next year.

MY GUESS IS THAT A LOT OF THE KIDS POSTING NEGATIVE THINGS ABOUT MILES WILL EAT CROW NEXT YEAR.

Can you imagine how great he would be if he didn't have the momentary lapses in brain activity every season or a viable QB for the last four years?...Legendary.

"Best in history"

Maybe, but he has some sort of issue when it comes to critical times in big games. Seems to me, he simply cannot adjust/change/whatever in order to try to win. And excuse me, but I think Nick Saban, if he were our coach, and found himself in the same situation, would not try something, JL or whatever, but somethng!

Just My Opinion.

put down the cool-aid

even great coaches shite the bed every once in a while, Saban did, Meyer did, Spurrier did, Sweatervest did, Pete Carrol did, Lord knows Mack Brown did, Stoops does it twice a year, etc. etc.

Miles shite the bed in the biggest game of his career, one of the most important games in our program's history, and potentially one of the best NC matchups of all time...it's o.k. to admit it.

Agreed. And our fan base likely is the most mentally unbalanced in history, also.

That's pretty good in a league that's won the last 7 national championships.

Is there a "thanks for the season" thread anywhere?

This was the most magical season I can remember. It sucks that we lost. To be completely honest, it sucks that we were somehow able to beat a fantastic Alabama team on the road, and then have to play them again.

But no matter how the bowl turned out, we played and beat all comers. I'm proud of our entire team.

No doubt, we should all be proud of his historic accomplishments. I for one, am.

Are you high? With as much dissension in that locker room and players/recruits jumping ship, what makes you so certain people will be eating crow? Once the players start thinking that CLM failed them, it'll take a season or two to regain control of them.

We haven't had a viable QB on the team for the last 4 years. Unless you count Perriloux.

this is a copy and paste from a post of mine in another thread

LSU has only 12 10 win seasons in its history. Les Miles has 5 of them and before you start talking 12 game season none of those seasons have been exactly 10 wins they have all been 11 wins or more. From 1962-1986 there were no 10 win seasons at LSU even under saban we only had 2 10 win seasons and in one we needed the SECCG and a bowl to do it.

I was talking about big picture of LSU, not a one game brain fart.

Sorry.... didn't think I'd have to explain that one.
