The guy had a horrible game!! He was running for his life because the line was compleately dominated. The coaching staff did nothing to help him. We shouldn't forget that he is a kid who despite the outcome was doing his best. His best obviously wasn't near good enough but that is on the coaching staff. They could have made a change. The problem was our staff had 40 days to make a plan but they had no backup. He looked confused and frustrated from the first series but no changes were made to help him or replace him. In a day where everyone blast a kid for going out of state to play, this guy stayed home. Where is the loyalty from our fan base? The kid tried his best! What more can you ask?

The line was dominated because 5 men cannot block 8 or 9. We need to make Bama respect the pass to get them off the LOS.

Its not the players fault the game plan sucked. I blame the guy who makes $4m a year and had no clue of what to do.

He also blamed Ware for his stupid int, said he made great decisions and thinks we should have a split title. Kid has never taken responsibility for shite since he's been here.

I don't blame JJ. It's this myth being put out there by fans and somewhat by Miles that you need a running QB to beat Bama. The next 4 years these LSU fans and Les Miles will be proven wrong. Are these fans and Miles wanting to forfeit all our games vs Bama because we have pocket passers for the next few years?

He plays QB. He gets the blame or the glory. It goes with the position. That's not to say he gets all the blame. There's plenty of that to spread around.

According to JJ, he made great decisions. It was the other players that played horrible.

Thank goodness we no longer have to put up with JJs delusions of greatness.

To be fair, he didn't just have a horrible game. He was a horrible QB that had some great plays sprinkled in with a majority of absolute brain farts. In his 4 years, he never improved and most believe he regressed. And not once, ever, did he ever accept responsibility for his mistakes, on field or off. Even worse, he openly blamed others, including teammates.

One bad game? COME on, man...

I agree- there is no sport in Jefferson bashing. Unfortunately, he made it too easy. But I do wish him well in the future.

He was running for his life because he panics. More excuses defending him? I have heard excuses for four years. Enough

JJ had plenty of pockets to throw the ball in. Problem is dude doesn't know how to pull the damn trigger and when he finally does it takes him 2 seconds to wind up.

In every game the pass rush is going to get to the QB. I saw numerous time where JJ had at least 3 seconds to get rid of the ball and had the TE or a WR wide open down the field. Asking for more than 3 seconds is asking a lot from any OL against any defense.

Yes he was pressured but JJ had an opportunity to make some plays down field and he just did not do it.

No one of significance gave him an offer. We would have been better without him.

Was he also misinterpreted when he got in Ware's face after throwing the ball at his back?

Jefferson brings a lot of this on himself. IF he ever accepted responsibility for his poor play just a little, all would be OK, BUT HE HAS NEVER DONE THAT. Thats the problem with most fans. Be a man and a leader and he has never done that.

JJ always looks confused when he doesn't get a read option run in his favor.

JJ wasn't a option QB, but they tried to make him one. We needed a passer on Monday, and JJ isn't that.

JL can pass but can be baited into interceptions. We loose with both due too ineffective game planning.

For the past 4 years, LSU has been among the most talented teams in the country in every position except Quarterback. Not just talking about JJ. Both JJ and JL are just average compared to most of the rest of the SEC.

With Mett and Kiel, our time for real success is coming soon!
