When was he more than this?

He's always been sort of a goofy clown, but I never really thought he was a complete classless piece of shite. Now I do.

I don't think anyone is saying Hebert will sink LSU but this rant of his does nothing positive.

Handle you business in house. Anyone including grandmas and teenage girls are acutely aware there were major problems on Monday. Having Hebert point this out does not help in this forum.

I agree with Bobby on this cruical point...the offensive plan wasn't working, do something...

you didn't have to go to the Kriegsakademie or be a Von Moltke or Wedemeyer to know that no plan survives first contact with the enemy...

if you didn't want to put JL in, put Mett in...what did you have to lose...JJ wasn't cutting it..

We all know Bobby speaks his mind and why but those of us should judge not. In America your voice can be heard no matter how crazy you might be. (No pun intended.) Remember where WE are right now. Who really cares what is said on the Rant. I just like to write my immediate thoughts down before I go to work. Until I hear a better explanation as to why JJ played the entire game, I will always have a bitter taste about this weekend. Dammit Janet!

So its OK for Hebert to be a pissed parent, but Miles was OK not to piss off the Jeffersons

Is that about right?

Cause there's no way T-Bob would have performed worse than JJ

somebody had to say something publicly.

it was a crude message and a bad messenger, but there needs to be answers and an airing out of reality in baton rouge.

they didn't beat us because they're game plan was better. We lost because we recycled a game plan and refused to let go of the losing hand until the bitter end.

I want it to embarrass him to the point that he never lets it happen again. Les Miles quitting on his team at half time was a disgrace to the University, team, assistant coaches, and players. Miles doesn't deserve a pass and he doesn't deserve to be relieve of criticism.

I agree with your bigger point, but Hebert trashed out program big time, not just Miles and basically sought to erode general support. He's salting the earth. That doesn't help.

Let's look at Hebert for second: he's a Saints/New Orleans media guy with a likely disgruntled ex-player for a son. His best interest is to garner attention and notoriety for ratings and probably let off a little steam regarding his kid. None of that translates into giving a shite about making LSU better.

He may have some points but don't appoint him as some messenger of the fans who just had to say something. He doesn't' give a shite about the future like I assume we all do.

I'm pissed too, real pissed, but this kind of behavior only hurts us.

I'm not sure why anyone who is for LSU would think this is positive, productive or funny.

Maybe Miles needs people skills (or math skills)

Dont please one family, just to piss off dozens more

that was a dick move to publicly spout that shite.

If you believe that, then it would have been a real good idea for Les Miles or someone in the AD to reach out to Hebert before today. Instead they just dismissed him and treated it with a good amount of arrogance.

Basically Hebert just pulled an Updyke and poisoned the LSU program.

It doesn't matter if he is right or wrong. Its not gonna change the situation.

And sometimes it's a matter of sticking with the plan, eliminating mistakes and doing a better job of execution. Since LSU never did the latter two, we'll never know.....but it's always easier to criticize the $4 million a year coach for what he didn't try then the players for their performance.

are you freakin' kidding me? we were running the ball up the middle for 1.5 yards in the 4th quarter when it was still a 2 possession game. Miles quit on this team. It wasn't working. Whether it was execution or a poor game plan is irrelevant. It is the coach's job to change something to make that performance better.

I can't believe you just put this on the players. you are a pos.

You are giving that clown way too much credit. Nobody is gonna give a rat's arse in 2 weeks what he said.

Meh. I don't think most people in the national media take Bobby very seriously. They all know a drunken douchebag when they see one. CC more than likely just had him on for the entertainment value.

He's probably pulling a page right of Cowherd's own playbook. How many people you think are going to make sure to listen this afternoon as a result of his appearance?
