I am here to say that we flat out laid a rotten egg last night in the National Championship game. The game plan was horrible and the execution by our quarterback was horrible. At no point did our offense looked ready to play. Having said that, I am still behind our head coach and think he has the program headed in the right direction. I have seen a lot of negative comments about Les here on the board. Some of these same fans were all over him since he had the tigers 13-0. Now he is horrible? I don't think so. Sure Saban is a better X's and O's coach. The Tiger players would die for Les. They love the man and he stands up for them. Sure we should have done a better job last night, but we didn't. Oh well, life goes on. He did a great job with this team this year given what he had to work with.

Now, last night, hearing the boos for JJ was pathetic. He was playing very poorly, but he is about 21 years old. This will probably be his last game wearing pads and the fans booed him. Very classless. You want to know why it is sometimes hard to get some of the great players around the country, the answer lies within the fickle fan base. Poor JJ will live the rest of his life hearing boos in his head when he thinks about his last game as a tiger. How would YOU like that?!

If it's no big deal, why does Miles get paid millions?

Somehow, I have a difficult time believeing that "poor JJ" gives one flying frick what the fanbase thinks.

People like you are "poor JJ"'s problem in a nutshell...too many people over the years clucking and saying "poor little JJ" and never holding him accountable for a damned thing.

I know 21 year olds who have died for country.

The little arrogant prick can take a few boos.

I agree w/ you 100%. Folks, if you didn't make a block, take a snap, or return a kick, last night, how about taking your stupid misguided blowharded douchebaggishness somewhere else?

I am 42 yo ... I have never ever in my life booed at an LSU game ... last night, I booed and although I am quite sure that JJ can't distinguish whether my boos were for him or Miles, I assure you they were for Miles.

And how did HE JJ feel? How the hell do you think JL felt?????

Spot on man. It wasn't ten minutes after the game that some dumbass had a "Les should be fired " thread. I wish that some of these LSU "fans" could see and experience a "shitty" coach for real. It's not like we played ole miss and got killed. We played possibly the best Bama team of all time. Yes we played like shite , but our coaching staff got us to the national title game.
As far as JJ, the guy played like crap, but he has done more for LSU football than all those booing him will ever do combined. No tiger deserves to get booed by a tiger "fan". People need to realize that these YOUNG MEN aren't collecting a check. They are putting their health and body on the line everytime they strap up the chinstraps. Thank you to this senior class for a hell of a season

I love when people come on here with lecturing. JJ lost any innocence that would allow us to call him "21 year old kid" when he stomped that guy's head. JJ became LSU's most hated athlete of all time last night, and he deserves that title. However, the boos were for JJ's daddy, Mr. Les Miles.

Booing is never acceptable!

However, how can one feel "bad" for Jefferson when Lee was thrown aside like garbage after leading this team to 8-0?

Last night, Lee was standing there like an eager little boy wanting to play and make things happen and he was shunned, COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. Never, ever given a chance to make something happen. Shame, complete shame and utter disgust of this coaching team. Undefeated or not, LSU has to humble it's players and realize that bullshite talk off the field does not win games.

I wish Jarret Lee the best in life and Jordan Jefferson-I could give a rat's arse about.

An college athlete who is surprised or shocked by booing in this situation should have played for a minor school in front of a few hundred friends and family, not a major college in a major conference.

They had a whole month and some more to prepare for a game that was full of repetitive options, fullback dives (AT A STACKED NFL 3-4 DEFENSE) and bubble screens. The OFFENSIVE coaching staff should be ashamed of themselves. The defense did a great job.

There will ALWAYS be unsatisfied fans. It's part of the sport. Can't handle the heat? GTFO the kitchen. I have no problems with JJ. I wish him the best of luck, but he is not a QB. He'd be very lucky to make an NFL practice squad.
