"Violent running back" is getting a lot of mileage.

"This team needs to blah blah blah to beat LSU" is the most over used phrase this season.

In the Pros, with quarterbacks, the term du jour is elite.

Look, if you're going to do it, do it right. It's called at the "quarterback position".

Oh so you rather hear shite like "ad naseum"(sp) or "Spot ON"? Now that's cool lingo right there brah.
That needs extinction before calling a player a "beast", IMO.

Nasty in the real world=bad

Nasty as college football adjective=awesome

But this D has been "nasty" for a while. Isn't it time to re-term it?

Beast still got a while til it's gone.

The media picked up swag and now I just about hate it.

Garbage will continue to live on

ETA: I don't use SPOT ON, I use "on point"

I do remember a time when all the NFL analysts would talk about was how a team needed to get a "marquee player" or a "marquee quarterback" to build their team around and put fans in the stadium.

Replaced with "franchise" players.

Swagger has been brought back this year--however, reduced to "swag."

As long as some idiot doesn't say they dialed up a play. Ballin? Meaning they are playing ball?

Nothing wrong with beast. You hear that and freak too.

Just don't say he;'s a player or a football player, duh
