The Nastiness Called a Po Boy

Am I the only person in Louisiana that thinks a po boy is the most disgusting sandwich on earth?
You start with greasy fried seafood (the nastiest way to cook it) and add it to an oversized dry arse piece of french bread. Add shredded lettuce (which translates to the most putrid form of lettuce because shredding conceals flaws) and some overripe tomato slices then slather it all with Miracle Whip.
One of my co-workers and I went to lunch and I almost heaved at the sight of his nasty po boy. We have this argument all the time.

nothing wrong with poboys... but i hate poboys with that huge, stale tasting French bread

I don't eat fried seafood poboys as I think fried seafood is not that great. I'd rather eat boiled shrimp etc. Now a roast beef poboy is a different story

1) Not all poboys are fried seafood
2) Not all poboy bread is that dried out french bread shite.
3) You are grossly overgeneralizing all po-boys based off of shitty ones you've eaten. You know better.
Best po-boy i ever had, was when i was a kid. Used to go fishing with my dad around krotz springs, after we'd stop by a po-boy shop, get ham and cheese po-boys and drive up and eat them on the levee.
