Dykstra no longer on team

If Magee or Foster come over from football additional adjustments will be made

Damn, I thought he was going to help us out of the bullpen this year. Any news on why? I don't like how these guys just fall off the roster with no explanation. Not that we're owed an explanation or anything, it's just annoying.

Not surprising given the depth at that position this year.

Hypothetical- If Mainieri misses post season again, how much longer does he get? That new stadium cost a pretty penny to be sitting empty.

Seeing as how there is a long waiting list for season tickets, I doubt it's going to be empty.....

It'll be empty in the post season.

I think Maneiri's seat starts to warm up if they don't make the postseason this year.

If we dont make postseason this year, fans will be calling for his head.

Surprised Dykstra didnt make it...should have cut Joey B before him.

if the stadium stayed strong through smoke, I can't see PM bringing it down.

I haven't followed baseball very closely. I can't wait to read about some people's opinions on here about our depth and talent.

BUT

That's gotta wait until Football's over

He will be gone if we don't make the post season, second year in a row and after he said he stopped recruiting players and let his assistant do all that; I lost all repect for him.

I hear Dykstra had attitude issues. Pure speculation though.

Mainieri said last night that he did not have a great fall and was way behind a lot of the other pitchers. So he's transferring somewhere where he can get more innings. Same thing with Bruno who's transferring to UNO. Rittner and Lowery are both injury related departures. Probably giving up baseball.

shame about Rittner, he was one of the lone bright spots on a terrible pitching staff

Agree with this. Let us know why the kid is gone. LSU is not a normal program and these guys are more like pros than most minor leaguers. Tell us what he did, Coach!

Rittner did not play on last year's very good pitching staff. He played on the 2010 subpar pitching staff.

(If that was what you were laughing about)
