Gun safe. Where to buy and what to buy?

Well, I have started getting a few guns. I want to quite storying them in gun bags. I know, bad idea. So, where should I get a gun safe from and what should I buy?
It doesn't need to be attatched to the ground or anything. I just want to keep people out of it short term. If they are going to carry the whole thing out, that is fine.
So, what recommendations do you guys have? I looked at amazon and saw this one...

It seems decent. Any other recommendations?

My friend has that safe
I think it's sold at academy
decent. I went with the browning bronze series.
I bought mine cash and carry from a gun show. I think it's called fane safe.. Located somewhere on south LA.
Best advice is the biggest and best you can afford.

Get twice as much safe as you think you need. That is how you keep from buying two safes. Here in AL I found a Liberty dealer that was going 50% off on blemished safes. My blemish is at the bottom of the safe and most people can't find it unless I point it out to them. The fact that this dealer seems to have this sale about once a year makes me think other places do too. Where I bought my safe:
Mark's Outdoors Vestavia, AL
Granted I spent a lot more than you are looking to, I have a safe bigger than my fridge. Back when she was delivered. All 1565lbs of her.
All the specs:
Liberty Magnum

Every now and then Cannon will have a scratch and dent sale on some of their safes. I bought one and it's a great deal. $800 safe for a little over $400.

Get something fire proof for at least 45 minutes to an hour. Watch out for electronic locks - not worth it. The major stores, when they have sales only, might be your best bet. If you can move it without a "dolly" with 2 people, don't buy it!

Like someone else said, get a whole lot more safe then you think you need.
We have a fireproof sentry with an electronic combination lock. It works great, the batteries last a very long time, but it just isn't big enough.

I will be buying one soon. I know that guy in Picayune Ms sells them at good prices. 24 gun is what I am looking for.
I worry about the electronic lock. Is this really something to worry about? I am bad about batteries going bad on me. Do not want to keep having to replace batteries for the rest of my life.

I have that safe. Picked it up from Academy a few years back. Only I have the turn dial model. Mine's not fire proof but I wish it was.

Stick with Browning and Liberty, and shy away from the entry level models

Ours has not had the battery changed in 2 years and still works fine. It gets opened and closed very requently

I have a Cannon 14 gun that I got on sale at Academy last year for around 375, I think it was originally around 500. I really like it, but like others have said, I already need a bigger one.
This is the model I have:

I bought a Liberty safe a few years ago. Good value and money well spent.

Picked up a browning 24 gun capacity with I think either 45 minutes or 60 minutes of fire rating that was good. Made the buy a couple of years ago at Bass Pro of all places. Went for a premium grade and glad that I did. Have yet to see a deal that good on a Browning safe anywhere else since. Nice safe and really makes you sleep easier knowing jewelry, important papers, all your weapons, and any other small valuables are protected when you are away. Have heard good things about Liberty safes as well.

+1 on Richie's on the Canon. They actually are starting up another sale on BayouShooter. They said it would be of all different types but are awaiting Canon to give them the numbers.
I had them deliver mine along with several others in the area for a good price. Brought it on a truck with a lift gate and pallet jacked it right to where I wanted it.
