I never thought I'd see the day when LSU had to travel to Alabama in order to play in at least one night SEC game.

While we don't know the concessions that CBS made (though rumored that it was giving to ESPN 1 preseason SEC match-up of their choice for primetime), be sure that they gave something up in order make this deal happen.
CBS would have done the same thing if the game was being played in BR/TS.

I don't think this will be an advantage for Bama. Their fans won't be able to handle the all-day mega party, will not pace themselves properly, and will not make it through the game

bama's 2 worst played games (vandy and Tenn) were at night so I guess its not the end of the world

You're correct. That was a pretty dumb statement. I'm just pissed they move it when it isn't involving TS. BAMA has had a shitload of night games this year.
