They are still college-aged kids, and a lot of people that age only learn things the hard way.

This is all Jefferson's fault.

If JJ had been a better leader that night at Shady's, none of this would have happened.

My sources tell me that Tyrann was jealous of JJ's newfound celebrity and felt like he needed to step up his game.

So he asked JJ to hook him up with some chronic or indo. JJ failed him and got him synthetic weed instead. A classic example of JJ's failure to be a good leader. To add insult to injury, JJ made Tyrann and Spencer admire his shoe collection before he delivered the ganj. Fake ganj at that. Smoked it in a special shoe bong that JJ keeps for special occasions.

This is 1000% JJ's fault.

I encourage you all to boo JJ on Saturday.

It is clear that the talent level on this LSU team exceeds its maturity level. Alabama experienced that phenomenon last year and it resulted in three losses. This year our players are more mature (especially on defense) and the leaders on the team are holding the other players more accountable. The majority of LSU's most talented players are underclassmen and have not experienced much adversity but have experienced a great deal of success. This may be more of an example of failed leadership of the team (by its players) than a reflection of Coach Miles or his program. While I agree that smoking synthetic weed by 19 year olds is not the moral equivalent of felony assault, it does represent a sense of entitlement and a lack of self discipline that should be troubling to a team that is favored to win a national championship. This also appears to be reflected in the lack of contrition as demonstrated by the tweets. The act of misconduct is not as serious as what it may reveal in terms of the lack of internal leadership and cohesion on this team. Many of the LSU fans have posted that they were confident that LSU would beat Bama because they did last year and Alabama's team was better in 2010. I agree that last year's Alabama team was more talented (especially offensively) than this year's team but this team's level of play is much higher. I think this difference can be attributed to a hungrier team with no sense of entitlement. I wonder if these events suggest that LSU's championship year will be 2012, after a year of additional growth and maturity.

As a father of "good kids" who has been on the receiving end of a call from the POlice, had "tighten up" sessions with both male and female kids, survived good grades, bad grades, experimentation with drinking, sex, smoking, all the things most teens and young adults go through, as much as we want these boys to be model citizens, they are still just kids. They make mistakes. All we as fans can do is trust they learn from it, that the coaching staff is doing all they can to keep the "bad" ones in check, and hope is doesn't F&*K up a potentially great season. In short, boys will be boys, girls will be girls, some do stupid things, some don't. And for some reason we as fans expect the kids on the team to be above all that and never be normal...well, that ain't happenin'!!! LOL

Hopefully les Miles sticks to a one game suspension preferably against the likes of Western Kentucky. Make them run a few laps and sweep it under the rug. When the Tigers win the NC no one will remember the curb stomping of a marine or someone taking a few puffs of weed.

you sound like one of the negamiles ranturds that has been atop the mountain hopeing and praying for something like this to happen so you could be right.

or, you are just another ex-h.s. football coach who lost his retirement and was fired b/c of his own behavior. now, you are god, and you can be judge and jury.

someone was asking where all the antimiles and negaturds were hiding, well, you showed them.

kids will be kids,
haters gotta hate.

go back to the bama board, troll.

You are truly a dumbass. Anyone with half a brain would be able to tell that I am angry Because this team arguably has more potential than any other team LSU has ever had but they seem hellbent on shooting their special season in the foot.

What O exactly are you blathering on about?

Half of the rants? So far I count one person calling me a troll and that person is you. I have been posting on this and other boards on tigerdroppings for years. Funny that until now I was completely unaware that you were the tigerdroppings posting Marshall. Does the position at least pay well? Does it give you good benefits like health insurance and a 401k? If the rest of your marshalling duties are performed like this you may want to keep your resume' updated.

you can say what you want.

i can say what i want.

your opinion is one of negative and judgemental. you obviously have some special power to have that anger. your anger is actually a reflection of your own self esteem. (have you ever read a book?) you hate yourself and get to take it out on teenage kids.

who gave you the right?
all the posting can do is probably track your downward spiral into alcoholism and insanity.

and,,,, again...my o (opinion) is better than your o (opinion.)

my o is that you are dying old man with no peace in his life. my o of the young men is one of love, tolerence and forgiveness.

and, yes, i forgive you.

p.s. anger management b/4 you do this in public.
