You would think that in light of the whole Shady's bar brawl fiasco that ultimately cost Jordan Jefferson and Josh Johns four games of the season due to their own stupidity that the LSU players would be making an extra effort to avoid any off the field issues. This is especially true considering you are playing on the #1 ranked team in the country and have everything to lose by doing something stupid like this. Mathieu probably has more to lose than anyone. He can kiss the Heisman goodbye along with any other postseason awards. Ware has to know that Ford, Blue and the rest of the backs are just waiting to be given the chance to be the featured back and he just handed it to them on a silver platter.

Whether you like it or not, much of this goes back to the coaching staff's complete lack of discipline with this team. A lot of you rantards jokingly talk about this team's "swagger". When it comes to "swagger", you have to take the good with the bad.

I just hope we don't look back on this selfish act by these three players as a reason why the team's MNC goal was not realized.

if it was weed or adderral, they shouldn't be suspended at all IMO.

I'd rather players smoke than drink

Imagine whatever coach it is you think runs the tightest, strictest, most disciplined program. Players do weed or other recreational drugs on that team.

Maybe when TM7 said he was "glad to have his starting qb back".....there was more hidden in that message.

Sure, that would be great if we all lived in fantasy land where there are no real life repercussions for making stupid (and illegal) decisions.

I think Marijuana should be legal but the fact remains that it is not and alcohol is. Those are the rules. Until the rules are changed you have to work within those rules or face the penalties. Obviously, there are rules that prohibit this type of activity even outside of the legal system.

I am not naïve to believe that this doesn't go on with other teams but there sure have been a rash of things happening like this with this particular team. Apparently, these idiots don't realize how fragile a special season like this is and how easily it can be lost.

I think what the OP, fine young gentleman that he is, was trying to say is that while this may be common among CFB players, one would think that LSU's players would be much more cautious and sensitive to getting into trouble because of the Shady's mess.

Or not. I mean, his screen name is about four years out of date so WTF does he know?

I am sure that inside your head your post was funny. I can believe that considering that there is little else in there.
