i love the guys who say "frick this sterile shite" in the NFL

Which is why the NFL doesn't have any real rivalries. It's corporate and sterile...full of coach speak...who dictated that professional football should play by Wimbledon etiquette? The sport needs characters but the NFL is like that Japanese motto - the nail that sticks out gets pounded by the hammer.

Harbaugh then changed his attitude when he continued to be asked about the incident in his postgame press conference. “I do get emotional, I do get fired up. A lot. I not going to apologize for that. If that offends you or anybody else, so be it.”

I know right?

I don't like when college football fans that try to apply the same paradigm when they talk about pro football.

i am a college and nfl fan

hatred of atlanta is nothing close to the hatred of auburn or bama...from the players to the fanbases

there used to be real hatred in the nfl. think about the old raiders/chiefs hatred, esp around the marucs allen era

I see why you chose this.

The deal is that rivalries are a little different in the NFL and NCAA. They wax and wane. And you play them 2x a year.

IMO, Saints/49ers or the Rams was a stronger rivalry in the past.

I was going to ask, how many 70s era Raiders-Broncos games you went to.
