Bama will have only played one tough game -Arky - before we play them. And yes...dont bring up Penn St.......its not 1984.

Advantage LSU.........big time.

special teams, field position, AND PLAYING AT ALABAMA. Advantage LSU.

Fixed.
Repeat after me: Home field-advantage hasn't been an issue in this series for years. Unless we want to talk about "questionable calls/no calls", perhaps. That is the truth.

Call me crazy, but LSU has proven as much as anyone they can win on the road this year. Not to mention Bama has thus far savored ONE WIN AT HOME AGAINST LSU THIS CENTURY. That has to sting.

Yes- It will take a monster effort on LSU's part. Same thing goes for Bama. All this talk of "blowouts" either way is nuts. 4th quarter, tight game until somebody decides they want it more. I hope that's us.

But hey- I'm just pointing out the fact that "home-field advantage" in this series has been anything but lately. Remember that.

this game will come down to Bamas O line VS LSUs D line, and bringing down TR.

I fear that the Bama O line has the advantage due to their size. They have been awesome so far.

If they can lock up our D line, the interior will be the biggestr challenge... and get to the next level where our LBers arent stellar, we could give up some yardage.

However, what we give up in size at the end position, we gain easily gain with speed, so shedding blocks will be critical.

Its funny to read the Bama fans who think they will steam roll us, quoting the yards we gave up to WV. Anyone on either side of the argument thinks the other team will get blasted is delusional. I don't know who will win, but I sure as hell will bet that the game will be close. I like both D's. I like our offense, but I like their running game better. I have no idea how that pans out.

Other things - I like our punting, and love our coach.

Interesting to read how they think we dont' match up against them.
Bama fans are some of, if not THE, most uneducated fans in the SEC. They think all of their teams are awesome, any everyone else sucks.

You do realize Bama has a week of before LSU, right?

Both teams are coming off a bye.

I personally do not think Alabama could handle Oregon on a neutral field right now.....

You're joking, right? Alabama would completely destroy Oregon...on a neutral field, in Autzen, out in the back yard, on an aircraft carrier, or anywhere else the game could possibly be played.

I think they'd have some problems early, but in the end, win just like LSU did.

It would be awesome if Miles took off a ref's cap and replaced it with a bama cap!

Yes, I agree. Philosophy (outmuscling the opponent) and great field position has accounted for our lack of offensive totals. I'd like to know our avg. field position vs. Bama's.

Beyond that, LSU's #2 and #3 best wins over West Virginia and Mississippi St. do not look as good as our wins over Arkansas and Penn St.

Nov 5th could be a cat 5 hype hurricane. Especially with 2 weeks of chest thumping, trash talking, and hate mongering. I will wear LSU gear 14 days straight.

can't wait.
