JJ BOOM!
But seriously folks, what if Lee came out and said the I am the starter! Come and get it if you can! JJ is saying he is going to do whatever he can to take it away.

we don't play Kentucky any more this year...

it means that the offense is benefiting from field position and leads being made more comfortable by special teams and defensive scores. It's not necessarily having to do too much to win games to this point. Which is fine, that's the way to win championships...the question is, how does this offense respond if it needs a late score to tie against a stout defense. I'm very happy with the offense right now, but Lee and JJ aren't great playmakers with their arms.

JJ should not have stated that he intends to win back the starter job.

that was ugly shite.

every game he does not start he will get to sulk.

the passing game would have been VERY solid had our WRs been sharper.

certainly a few of those passes should have been caught, but Lee got away with a few as well, the long completion to Randle for example.

You included someone in this list you should not have. You have committed rantard sacrilege.

So he regressed bigtime last year, and we currently have someone leading a redzone attack that is near the top, and when you look at TD's compared to fg, they are nearly #1.......so you want to experiment to SEE if he can actually deliever the numbers we are already getting.....makes sense...lol

I've just accepted the fact that Jefferson will be getting a decent amount of meaningful snaps for the rest of the year.

If you aren't expecting that, then prepare to be surprised. I'm just hoping he performs well when he gets in.

who cares about fricing total yards if the offense is performing at that level scoring 38 a game....good god.

1st I'm Not a college kid man - I was a player, but that was long ago.

you will care if we just happen to god forbid lose one game in the next few and have a bunch of un-defeats in front of us for the BCS - because it will be a factor my man!

however, I am not even a huge JL supporter. What really identifies an idiot is one that wants "to make a change just to see" when something is working the best it has in years. That's like saying, I hired this new CEO to manage our company and our output has immediately improved...but just to see if I'm right, I am contemplating going back to the the old CEO who was responsible for poor output...makes a lot of sense doesn't it??? lmao

so, according to your logic, Les Miles is an idiot?

Keep going....

I like jj saying he wants to be the starter thats what competing is all about. I bet there are 5 -10 other players that want to start. they just don't have a microphone in front of them.

Only if Jefferson is allowed to throw a pass. Don't bring him in just to run every time.

Did you forget about vandy, miss state, and West Virginia in September? I mean for real....

He had a decent game against Bama.....I could have had a good game against Ole Miss so give me a break. That's it buddy.

Lee is better by himself. Don't need a 2qb system.

Jefferson was the same exact dude last year, and it was just as simple as just letting them stack the box and throw on them last year wasn't it? Yet we never never never exposed that, not even once. What do you think he just figured it all out this offseason?

perhaps you should check the post above for the non 100 yard passing games from a year ago, and perhaps you should look at our scoring offense from the past two years. If you are trying to say he suddenly got better over the Summer,

Quit living in the frickin past! It is possible for players to get better! i.e. Lee! Is JJ not allowed to get better or something? Before the season even began, I bet my chips on JJ getting better more then I did Lee and a lot of others did too. Wtf is wrong with some of you?

Right.

Are you willing to potential disrupt what you know now (about QB play) just to appease your curiousity about an unknown (QB play)?

I'd prefer to keep moving forward with what we know now. And if that changes, then consider the unknown.
