If perilloux doesn't come in periodically then we dont winning SEC and we all know what that means.

JJ is now essentially RP 2.0

perhaps you should check the post above for the non 100 yard passing games from a year ago, and perhaps you should look at our scoring offense from the past two years. If you are trying to say he suddenly got better over the Summer, okay, I can't say whether he did or didn't....but please don't tell me to look at that pitiful performance the past two years overall with numerous three and outs, turnovers, poor red zone efficiency, and scoring 2 td's a game less.......

Of course having depth is always better than not having depth. Look at Florida right now. A true freshman is your backup QB?? How does that happen at Florida?

How often did RP actually play? Seriously? I think (hope I'm wrong) that JJ will be playing much more than him and it will be an actual dual qb role....which sucks.

so, you admittedly don't know if he's better or not (sure as hell won't listen to expert opinions), but feel free to pass judgment from play that is 2 years old. Good thing you aren't a coach.

ETA: and to spice it up a bit (means make yourself look dumber), you dismiss EVERYTHING good the kid accomplished (i.e. Bama, aTm, etc.). Dude, take a fricking walk.

2009 RZ passing efficiency
Jefferson was 10th in the country in RZ efficiency. 11 touchdowns, 1 interception.

Of course, that was 2 years ago and he definitely regressed last season.

But at least we know he's capable of being good in the RZ. Let's hope he is a force on the field when he gets into the games and performs well.

play that is less than 1 year old yes......and play that i have seen for 2 years yes....

however, I am not even a huge JL supporter. What really identifies an idiot is one that wants "to make a change just to see" when something is working the best it has in years. That's like saying, I hired this new CEO to manage our company and our output has immediately improved...but just to see if I'm right, I am contemplating going back to the the old CEO who was responsible for poor output...makes a lot of sense doesn't it??? lmao

So, if the offense bogs down and can't seem to get it going, how many consecutive "nothing" possessions should Les allow to occur before he puts a different QB in for a change of pace?

for this week, all I care about is ---- let's get off the 90th offensive ranking in the NCAA for goodness sake-

Whatever works to produce offensive points and rack up more yards and have less 3 downs and out -- lets do it.

I would like to see us below a ranking of 30 by seasons end.

So he regressed bigtime last year, and we currently have someone leading a redzone attack that is near the top, and when you look at TD's compared to fg, they are nearly #1.......so you want to experiment to SEE if he can actually deliever the numbers we are already getting.....makes sense...lol

I don't give one drizzly shite where we rank offensively, so long as we get to the SECCG and the BCSNC.

With our "D" our overall ranking will never be great. We play a ball controlled "O" and usually have good field position. Scoring Offense is more important, and we look a lot better in that category.

Obviously we are dealing with a college kid here who has absolutely no clue about what is going on offensively. LSU is scoring 38 points per game and is in the top 20 in the nation in scoring with a balanced offense averaging over 350 yards a game.....who cares about fricing total yards if the offense is performing at that level scoring 38 a game....good god.

...and we are getting to the heart of the schedule, the part in which it seemed to be at its worst last year. I am hoping it doesn't happen again, however, I think the team is better prepared to deal with it immediately in the event it does.
