Just hit up several the Morgantown bars and had a great time. All the locals were nice and we enjoyed visiting back and forth about the game. Most acknowledged that we are likely to win, but the are excited that we "brought Gameday to Morgantown"

Not a single interaction that was negative at all. We headed in early because we're leaving at 5:00am to go whitewater rafting. Things may change later.

So far we've had a great time and enjoyed the locals.

Update: down below in this thread someone linked a video clip of the Upper gaulley. Our "incident" happend at the class 5 Pillow Rock rapid.
Upper Gauley wipeout

The facial expressions and positions in (and out) of the boat is entertaining now that it's over......

will post a link with more pictures showing the river and sourroundings on the Outdoor board soon. Unbelievbly beautuful and deadly river

the gauley or the new?

the gauley during the fall/winter release is in the top 10 white water rivers in the world. not for the faint of heart not newbies to rapids.

but man what fun. glad you are enjoying your trip up to my beloved wv mountains

We did the upper Gauley rive today. Absolute blast. We flipped the entire raft. Scary time as we all had to get picked up downstream by other boats. Our guide pulled me out the boat trying to hold on to keep from falling out.

River is at 10 year high due to lowering the resovior for inspections.

12 tiger fans at "da lazy lizard" from our group. Only place with no line.

Still having a good time and being treated very well.
