I'm glad to see most had a good time. For those who were saying people almost seemed too nice, well that's honestly how people from West Virginia are. If you come on a gameday it may get rowdy and hostile at times but if you come on a nongameday people really are that nice.

so you know exactly how he ended up in Pitt? who said the ambulance brought him to another state??

It's whats been said by every person who claims to know the family or be a member of the family.
So why is there not a single media outlet covering this story? The media jumps all over every story they can.

the main reason that I think that they could fit into the SEC. They can catch up later with their facilities. If they got an invite, imagine the recruiting advantage they'd have in the Northeast.

Start giving us some of that SEC money and we'll be able to catch up.

Glad to see so many enjoyed their trip.

What exactly did Dana Holgorsen do? I was at the game so I have no idea.

Hmmm I wonder why we did that...because it was in response to your fans booing every hurt LSU player. I was there and heard it all.

Every player? We booed after the 6th or 7th player went down.
It was helmet to helmet. Cheap and dirty hit. Luckily he got up fine. I remember seeing it live and it was a huge hit.

I love this feeling of satisfaction the WVU fans are getting simply from putting up a lot of yards, even though they lost by nearly 4 touchdowns. It clearly shows what kind of expectations ya'll have for your team.

It might have something to do with the fact that you guys kept saying you have the best secondary in the nation. You guys acted like you have the greatest defense to walk the Earth and they should just be playing on Sundays. We either exposed your defense as that not being true or Geno Smith is the greatest QB ever. Don't get me wrong though you guys have a great defense and were clearly the better team.

Pretty embarassing for LSU but I'm not gonna lie it's pretty funny.

Ole Gino boy will be well qualified to speak on getting "killed" after Sat. night... Its almost comical to me that some of you really cant see the reality here, and it is a waste of time trying to break it down for you,, I just hope you WV Mama Muff Divers have the nerve to come on back here and tell us we were right...

Am I allowed back if you're wrong?
quote:

If that's the case, I'm pretty excited to see what this secondary can do against something that wide open. Not to mention we'll get to see a lot of line play with no TE chipping our DEs constantly. I also listened to Holgerson a bit yesterday talk about his offense. Dude sounds like he's got his shite together he just needs the horses to run it. He talked a lot about tempo and rhythm and how you can't let the defense figure out either one. They run a lot of quick hits, screens and slants so this will be an entirely different look than anything this defense has faced so far. Our defense will get tested and it can do nothing but make us better for down the road for a team like Arkansas. Oh, and an impressive state to note: Geno Smith has 539 pass attempts in 3 years and only 9 INTs. His completion % has been in the high 60s his whole career. This kid makes good decisions and doesn't turn the ball over much. Our defense is going to get more tested than many, including me, would like to believe. I can't wait.

Most knowledgeable post I've seen so far about our team. One more thing to the Geno interception stats. He had a fluke game where he threw 3 picks in the first half against Syracuse last year. The pick he threw this year was the wide receiver's fault not Geno's. So take away that pick and that half against Geno and that is 4 interceptions in the last 15.5 games.

Bigger than the 2007 Pitt game that WVU tanked and lost a trip to the NC? Don't think so. It'll be pretty wild up there tomorrow night, but I doubt it will exceed what the team face 4 times a year in SEC road games.

The Pitt game was not a big game. They were 3-8. The consequences of that game were huge if we lost but it wasn't a big game. If you're supposed to blow the team out then it isn't a big game.
quote:

I don't think I have heard one person on ESPN or any other CFB shows ever mention the great DE's for WVU. On the otherhand they mention LSU's entire D-line (including backups) quite a bit.

That would be because you guys don't pay any attention to anything outside of the SEC.
quote:

And they haven't exactly been playing teams with renowned offensive lines.

Lee should have ample time in the passing game.

I wouldn't exactly be confident in Lee having plenty of time. We have such great DEs that teams have constantly been throwing quick passes and screens against us. We do have Bruce Irvin on the team who was 2nd in sacks last year with 14 and he only played on 3rd downs. If Lee takes his time he'll get killed.
Yeah I'd like to know what bars you hit up as well.
How does it compare to basketball gameday if you've ever been? I had a blast at it.

quote: It's slightly amusing they have no idea how much gameday sucks in person. This is why it's worth a laugh. LSu fans will be partying all night because we know it's not worth going. Back in 1996, we LSU fans flocked to it, but now we know better. I hope the campers have a blast out there. I sure would be disappointed if they were dead tired and drunk by kickoff.

Why not do both? When basketball gameday was here we partied the night before while camping out. And yes we will be drunk by kickoff but trust me we will not be tired.
This is 1 game out of 12 for LSU. This is THE GAME for WVU. This has been the game for WVU since January.
quote:

I think both the Ms State and Oregon secondaries are better than what WVU has. They gave up 200 through the air to Norfolk and almost 300 to Maryland

Maryland has a very good QB and passing attack. Norfolk State pick up about 80 of those yards on the first play of the game with a Wild Cat pass. Definitely shouldn't have happen.
quote:

No worries ole boy..... The Tiger D is for real, not taking away anything from Gino, and its not a knock on Gino..... its giving props to actually good this D is.... why some dont see it yet is beyond me, but our D is special and determined. There is so much talent out there, and they are playing up to it..

It's a great defense. It's better than last year's defense but not by much. Geno only threw one pick last year against that defense in the 2nd start of his career on a Saturday night at LSU. Which you guys obviously know is there are very few if any environments that top LSU on a Saturday night. Yeah I think I'll take my chances with Geno in his second year of starting on his own home field.
quote:

When you're D is giving you the ball at the 50 the yardage won't be impressive. Hence, the disparity between 34th and 85th.

This isn't true. On average you got the ball on the 31 yard line against Oregon and on the 20 yard line against Mississippi State. Thus not proving the disparity.
