Interesting.Apparently not as many of you as these American beers are losing sales. Here are some sales figures for American beer:

1. Michelob: down a whoppin’ SEVENTY-TWO PERCENT from 2006 to 2010
2. Michelob Light: down 64% for the same period
3. Bud Select: down 60%, same period
4. Milwaukee’s Best: down 53%, same period
5. Old Milwaukee: down 52%, same period
6. Miller Genuine Draft: down 51%, same period
7. Milwaukee’s Best Light: down 34%, same period
8. BUDWEISER(!): down 30% for the same period

Hmmm, also interesting is that of those, only Old Milwaukee is brewed by an America-owned company.

I drink mostly American beer, but I mix the imports in too.

I drink none of those. Abita and Shiner for the most part. And some Sam from time to time.

Maybe all of those are down because people are buying Bud Light, Miller Lite, and Coors Light. What are the figures for those three?

I love American beer but I've boycotted Anheuser Busch products for a good 2 years now and will continue.

Most of those are not American anymore. I recently (thelast 3-4 years) have enjoyed tasting my beer and have leaned more to the darker beers and look at the smaller but American companies, Abita makes some great beers as well as Sierra Nevada and even some SA beer. F-ing MSNBC, bunch of Nazis with a story like that, how about how sales increased in the smaller breweries and the other coors, anheuser, miller brands probably increased? Nothing wrong with some cheap natty-light to get your swag on
