Wow, this is a shock and bad move IMHO. My family has known Nathan for a long time and he's a mother fricker of a defense attorney.

Once charges are filed, Fisher has a conflict of interest and can no longer represent either.
The basis of the conflict is this: If Johns needs to put the blame to Jefferson to save himself, or vice versa, they cannot be represented by the same attorney. So, as a practicing lawyer (though not in the criminal defense area), I don't see anything unusual about this and, in fact, I expected it to happen.

Its a conflict.
Fisher is a great attorney, but he has been horrible with the PR. I am disappointed in his inability to work the media. He has sounded like an angry old man.

This might be the most shocking news of all to me. Ever since I can remember, Fisher has represented every LSU player that was in legal trouble. I only remember him getting them all off on something ridiculously lower than charged, if not having the charges completely dropped.
Not sure what to make of this.
Unglesby is considered a good one, but is also one of the most hated, disrespected criminal defense attorneys out there for his arrogance and need to be in front the cameras.

Also, this could be necessitated by the facts/defenses leading to an inherent conflict in a joint defense.
