I dont think its that at all. Its experience by most saying that guys dont typically jump someone in a vehicle who dont do something to provoke it. I think most if not all people agreed that the marine was in a bad place at a bad time and had nothing to do with instigating the fight once it was clear that he wasnt the guy in the truck and it was unfortunate that he got beat up doing the right thing.

No one is saying the situation is right or good just that its a normal thing that happens at a bar and no one would know care or press charges if it wasnt LSU football players

one dude, im surprised is not dead. i saw ruben randle curb stomp in
it was unreal
the football kids were all outside of shady's (the bar this happened at)
and some kid with a truck was trying to drive through so he honked a couple of times
they didnt like that and were angry, pulled him out of his car
and proceeded to nearly murder him
his entire face is likely broken

You do understand the skepticism, don't you? The stories are forever changing, as is customary on a message board. I think most on this board would support punishment if your version pans out. It's too early to tell what's gonna happen. And the immediate conviction of a player or players following a (supposed) drunken bar fight is leading to the standoff.

This whole thing is starting to sound like a scene out of "Revenge of the Nerds". Jocks versus dorks with the majority of us just hoping to see a good football game with no suspensions because the nerds feel like their being discriminated against.

I dont want to discredit him nor do I feel he is Lying. Some of the story just doesn't make sense.
Im not a big JJ fan , But he doesn't come across as the type of person to stomp some guys head in. Does that mean he didn't? we dont know either way, The story is just missing something. I dont feel like the LSU team is a bunch of thugs beating people for no reason nor can i believe that a person that is getting stomped in the back of the head can identify who did it. I also have a hard time believing that some one the Size of JJ was kicking this guy in the head and he walked away with a few scrapes and a contusion.
