Ok but look at the course. Its way different than all the other Majors this year. Drive straight and use your fairway stregnth wisely.

Scottsdale not gonna win back to back weeks though. It could easily be a first time major winner again. Westwood or Watson. I really like Donald, Watney, and Day though.

Drive straight.

This for all intensive purposes is a 7500 yard golf course. You better be long or you are going home.

Look at the outline of this. Its got water at every turn and will be very hard for ANYONE who is wild and having to make UP shots.

Ehh...that's the recipe for any Major though! That's like saying hitting the fairway in this major is more important that hitting the fairway in the US Open! :notsofastmyfriend:

Phil has never hit in straight in his career. He finished 2nd here to Toms..Driving accuracy is the single most overrated stat in golf

I'm going with Fowler. He's long enough and playing good golf. I think him winning would give golf a little shot in the arm. It would be interesting to have him and Rory winning majors in the same year.

Eventhough it's a fairly ling course, I see Tomz having a good week. He played decent last week and going back to a course he's won at before usually is beneficial.

How is the #2 player in the world a darkhorse? I know he hasn't been setting the world on fire, but he's still ranked #2. Westwood is no darkhorse.

I'm also picking Fowler to win this week. He putted lights out last week (only 100 putts in all 4 rounds) and he's been hitting it really well. My concern is that he's going to make too many bogeys with his aggressive nature. Hopefully he plays with his head this week.

Watney would be my 2nd choice now. Dark horse - Bill Haas.

Only you would pick someone who isn't in the field yet.

Because I said so.

If I were to pick 5 to win, I don't think he would be in the 5. Therefore, he's a dark horse.

Your standards are obviously different.

He's not in mine either.

I guess so. If Westwood won, I'd be a bit surprised, by not John Daly 1991 PGA surprised. Obviously, threeputt is going for that angle.

Since Rock isn't in the field, threeputt is obviously reaching. What a surprise.
