In the photo that shows Vermaelen with his arms out, I'm trying to figure out why Sanga is kicking the ball on the left side. I can't think of a scenario that makes sense. He clearly isn't lightly touching it to someone.

It's just like putting an exclamation point on a sentence.. I see it a lot after teams score a meaningful goal, or against a team they don't like or something. Usually they pound it into the back of the net again though as it starts to roll out. Either that or he figured he'd waste some time kicking it out so Newcastle couldn't run to the kickoff.

Yeeeah I got one of those sitting on my TV stand. I think 3rd coast soccer has that one and another one that looks pretty decent.

That is pretty badass. I actually got my mom into Arsenal when she saw RVP. It was love at first sight, and she thinks Mertesacker is cute too.

But I can't say much, I got a picture of a ManU scarf texted me before from her and she asked if It was the one I wanted at least.. (apparently they only have ManU and FCB scarves at Nike)

Anyone know when the Premier League schedule for next season will come out? We're planning a trip to Ireland to spend time with my girlfriend's family and we wanted to spend some additional time in London and catch an Arsenal game. I used to live in London, so I'm pretty stoked about getting back over there.

A few of those reasons are pretty lame (the logo, Spurs being created by schoolboys, most of the first few) and I don't really buy into any Arsenal fans other than the author believing them.
Speaking of Tottenham's crest, it is actually the only thing I like about them. It is simple and elegant IMO.
