A lot of buzz on that front. Doesn't seem like we need him, but he's said he wants to play for us.

Lets just make this the Dutch/German Allstar squad IMO.

I have a feeling that we're going to sign a vastly undervalued Marko Marin this summer. He's an up and down player, but he'll command far less of a transfer fee than a Götze or a Hazard.

Vertonghen is Belgian if memory serves.

And thenry, that's a solid prediction. Apparently we're going to make a run at Götze, but I doubt we get him. Younes Belhanda is another likely signing on that front. Hopefully we get Giroud too.

I don't want Vertonghan. He's prone to stupid decisions.

If we got Podolski and go into the summer injury free, I'd be surprised if we bought anyone. We might need one big signing to convince RVP to stay, but I'm actually really comfortable with RVP leaving at the end of his contract, as strikers deteriorate quickly, even ones like RVP who rely quite a bit on technique. If we buy someone, it will depend on the status of Wilshere/Diaby/Frimpong and the development of Ramsey. Honestly, we have a pretty solid first 11, as shown by our recent run, and our back-ups have plenty of experience. We need one more piece, but I'm not precisely sure where we need to buy.

I'm on the ticket exchange and trying to decide where I should buy a seat for Aston Villa this weekend. There are a few seats available on the first row and I'm trying to decide whether or not I want to be right there in the action or if I should get something further up with a better view. Can anyone that's been to Emirates help me out?

Seems like we're going to sign Podolski, Giroud and a creative attacking midfielder. If we get 2 of those 3, I'll be pleased.

Podolski makes sense. Giroud would be a Chamakh/Park /Bendnter replacement. Before we buy another midfielder, I'd like to see what Wilshere does in that advanced role. Next season, we would have Wilshere, Arteta, Song, Ramsey, Rosicky, Diaby, Coquelin, Frimpong (who will probably be loaned out due to the injury) and Lansbury who comes back. So we will probably need one more midfielder. If we buy two attacking players and promote Miyachi to the first team, then we could possibly move AOC to AM, but with our injury record, who knows what we will do. I know we say this every year, but next season we will actually have a rather deep team at a lot of positions. Let's hope we can avoid serious injuries next season.

It seems like forever since we had a match. Rocking the Ramsey jersey at work.

A nice 2-0 victory for the Gunners and a 0-0 bludgeoning of Tottenham at the hands of Stoke, and we'll be in 3rd by the end of the day.

Yeah, Chamakh and Bendtner seem sure to go. Unsure what we'll do with Park, but it doesn't seem like he's going to cut it. Grimandi has been all about Giroud and we've scouted him extensively. Would be kind of surprised if we didn't sign him.

As for MF, it will be interesting to see where Jack plays, if he makes any appearances this season. I think AOC's future is in the center of the pitch, whether it be at CAM or ST. Ryo's development at Bolton has been great so there's no need for a wide player. Just one more quality midfielder would be nice.

I'm a lot more interested in getting rid of the dead weight in the squad than I am of buying players. That would free up a lot of space to promote promising youth team players, as well as new signings. Squillaci, Park, Chamakh, Denilson, Bendnter should be sold, or even given away, as long as they don't affect our wage bill.

Agreed. Aneke, Afobe, and others seem on the cusp. Serge Gnabry is young, but he's very close to the first team as well, it seems. We have some exiting young talents. Dropping dead weight will be key. Like you said, I think we'll focus less on transfer fees and more on getting these guys off our books.
