I'm really blanking on thinking of a character he would play. I could never really picture in my head what the Qartheens looked like. Maybe he'd play the rich merchant.
ETA: Maybe he'd be be Jaqen H'ghar. They distinctly covered his face when Arya passed by the caged cart.

I'm thinking the same thing, although the Jaquen H'ghar character would not really be that big of a commitment on the part of the actor.
The Gerard Butler rumor came form someone editing the IMDB page for the show and listing Butler as playing Stannis.

Nataline Dormer is a mixed bag. She can be incredibly hot and incredibly cold, but then a lot of the time, she just reminds me of The Church Lady, particularly due to the small, twisted shapes her mouth takes. It can be distracting.
She can also do this wider half-curled smile that reminds me of Alex from "A Clockwork Orange". Another actress with an interesting face is Jennifer Carpenter.

Jaqen (which I can see Murphy playing easily), would only be a single season role (With Murphy as the actor)
They will have to change the actors by the end of the season.
