What's good at Maxwell's Market?

I have a gift certificate and am looking for recommendations. Leaning toward a prepared item to bake/grill at home, but am open to suggestions from the deli sandwich menu as well. Thanks.

I love the grilled steak sandwich from the deli. Their crab and brie dip is also delicious.
I haven't had any of their prepared foods so I can't help you there.

They have marinated chicken or beef kabobs that are good. They come in about 4 different marinades.

They have a spiced pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon that is pretty good.

We like to get the stuffed chicken breasts. They have some stuffed with crab, some stuffed with cheese, some with artichoke, etc.
So good. And you just pop them in the oven.

Cuban is good as is the Muff. The three salad deal is great and you can put blackened chicken, Shrimp Remoulade, and any of the other salads listed on one plate (good for two people) The steaks and meats are good - all the stuffed and prepped stuff is good as well.
I love this place (see my review) and have never had anything bad - the only thing I never get to go is the Muff just because the bread can get crusty

They have good choice and Prime beef, but beware regardless of what they put on the sign the "fresh" tuna is previously frozen

I like the Rueben.
My wife brought some ground beef home and it was really good for hamburgers. I like the roasted chicken sandwich as well.
The Highland Road one is slow as Christmas for serving meals.

Bacon wrapped filet, twice baked potato, shrimp kabob.
Cant go wrong with this.

You can order the Cuban at Maxwell's, but it's about as legit as a mufaletta made with roast beef and no olive salad.
Ask them for Swiss cheese instead of Monterey Jack, and yellow mustard instead of spicy mustard. Ask them to not use turkey, salami and mayo. Then ask if they will add more of the ham or roast pork instead. That's about as close to a Cuban sandwich as you're going to get in this city.

This is true. I had one and thought Tony Montana would blow this place up if they served him this.

What's not good? I've never had anything bad there.
Personally I'd get a couple filets and grill them myself.

I dig their deli sandwiches and dips....even though all the dips taste the same.
