well when the clips traded randolph i said i wished we would have made a move to get him (it was really cheap, too) and the board erupted

then when people discussed getting mark gasol to play center in the offseason people flipped out. a shaky start gave a lot of ammo

I don't know about that - I've heard nothing but good things about Gasol on this board. People here have always talked about trying to acquire Gasol.

I dont remember any Randolph talk, but I do remember Gasol talk and overall most people liked Gasol. I know I was a fan.

Who wouldn't be? He is younger and bigger than Okafor with comparable stats and for about 1/4 of the price. But how exactly would we get rid of Okafor?

Really? There's been pretty much a love affair with Gasol on this board as far as I can remember. The problem with him is being too expensive for the Hornets to go after. If I were Memphis I'd dump Gay before I let someone outbid me for Gasol.

Nobody said Gasol and Randolph couldnt help the Hornets

When the Gasol conversations came up in the offseason i was one of the people saying i wouldnt pay him max money. But thats way different from saying he couldnt help the team

well we were supposed to have max-esque money at the time, so in the discussions, this wasn't really an issue
