Apparently Retief Goosen is going to walk away with the green jacket this year. Anybody that holes out for eagle on the 1st hole on Thursday of the Masters is destined for greatness.

Or will bogey or double bogey 5 times in the first round.

That was impressive by Goosen. Wow.
I don't plan on leaving a TV very much the next four days.
BTW, I just got back from Augusta last night. Went to a few practice rounds, saw some people the course is far more than anything I had expected. /brag

Yeah I plan on streaming the coverage on masters.com as soon as it airs. I went last year. I need to go back.

I would love to do that before I die.

Nowhere to go but down after that start.

A lot more undulations and slopes than you expected? That's what I always hear from people that have been.

reminder that on masters.com leader board you can access some videos. on the hole by hole view, some scores are in green. you can click the score and a video will pop up. for example, click ross fisher's name, then click his "2" on number 6 and the video will come up.

I hear that alot as well. If you watch the flyovers of all the holes on ESPN.com you can see how hilly it really is.

If you are going to play Augusta you better know how to swing on downward, uphill and side hill lies.

Watching Golf Channel, and a bottom line scroll just said effective immediately, the USGA has eliminated the rule that DQs a player for signing an incorrect score card if the rule violation wasn't made aware to a player prior to his signing. Very interesting. Good rule change, IMO.

Fisher with 5 birdies on the front 9. Wow.
Too bad he also has 2 bogeys. 33 not a bad in score though.
