#1 is one of the hardest holes on the course traditionally, mostly because of the green.
I think the hardest holes traditionally are 10, 12, 11, 5, 4, 1.

Absolutely. The course is built in a bowl. You can really see it when there. It was really evident on 12. The wind would switch directions and strength at the drop of a hat. So weird.

The past 2 years #11 has been the most difficult. #1 in 2009 and #2 in 2010 and is #1 currently.
Hole 10 was T3 and 3rd both years.
When they moved the tee back, added the pine trees, and changed the bail out area to the right, it dramatically increased the difficulty of #11.
