Looking for some good rum suggestions. I'm nearing the end of my Angostura 1919 and would like to try something new. So far, this one from Trinadad is my favorite.

:kige:

ETA: This is my favorite domestically available rum. My favorite is Bounty, which is not available here. It's distilled in St. Lucia.

I don't always drink rum. But when I do, it's usually Myers dark or Bacardi dark aged.

Stay thirsty my friends.

Seriously, is Appleton Estates any good.

Prichards, never heard of it. I'll give it a try.
My favorite is Myers mixed with soda water.

Sorry to bump an old thread but I just recently discovered Prichard's Rum and I'm impressed. I mainly know them from their whisky which is also good but pricey. If you see some of their rum at your local liquor store do yourself a favor and pick up a bottle (they make several flavors/styles). They also get their molasses trucked in from Louisiana.

YouTube Vid With Owner/Distiller

Their distillery is located SW of the Jack Daniel's and George Dickel distilleries. I'll probably make a trip down there one of these days and check them out.

But not by much, it seems. If you visit Prichard, be sure & stop by Dickel.
