Looking for something to do outdoors with GF

There's a place in Lafay that rents canoes I think. Is she fat? I wouldn't put a fatty in a canoe.

I've tried this as well. There are a few things that we can do together outside.
Walk our dogs on a nice trail (we go to LSU lakes)
Shoot guns (I bought her a 380, not sure if she likes it or just tries to please me)
Boat riding
Hiking (Clark Creek Natural Area Waterfalls)
Biking

If you are looking for something to do to introduce them to the outdoorts, take them fishing at a pond where you know she will catch some fish. My wife had never done anything outdoors, now she makes going catfishing in our pond a serious competition.

Canoeing is a good idea as long as she holds up her end of the rowing. Went on a canoe trip with chick I was dating before my wife and after a couple of miles of her sitting in the fron taking pictures I got tired of her shite and turned the boat over. Also, my wife likes to claim she's a country girl that likes getting dirty, but when it comes to baiting a hook with a worm she flips out. We took the kids fishing and I spent the whole time baiting hooks and never got to put a line in the water.

I checked this out a few years ago and found it to be pretty damn expensive. If I remember, basically for a weekend, you're looking at around $500, unless you stay in one of the boats that docked up right at the landing.

Bingo. Same with kids.
Be sure to stand on the opposite side of the pond and make them take their own fish off. Yell at them that they are killing the fish you work so hard to stock and maintain.
Worked for me... But we're also no longer together.
